On Wednesday night, I went to see Tom Jones with my friend Janet. The man still has it… voice, moves, incredible sex appeal. He had the women (and a few gay men) pretty hot and bothered… panties, bras (and even a pair of boxer shorts) went flying up on stage. He sang some of his hits like "Delilah", "It’s Not Unusual" and "What’s New Pussycat" with some pretty decent covers… he opened with Three Dog Night’s "Mama Told Me Not to Come" and sang songs by Charlie Rich and Jerry Lee Lewis. I was a little disappointed when he sang "Sex Bomb" because he rushed through it and it didn’t sound as sensual. He made up for it by closing the show with "Kiss". When he got to the lyrics, "I know how to undress me", he lifted his shirt and made a movement as if he were unzipping his pants… the women, including me, went nuts. I had a great time at the show but couldn’t help but think… if he weren’t Tom Jones, he’d just be one very dirty old man… LOL.
I added a music list with some of Tom Jones’ best songs and posted pictures. They’re fuzzy because cameras weren’t allowed in the theater but I snuck a couple… didn’t have time to focus… LOL
I don’t know about anyone else but this week absolutely dragged for me. God, I am so looking forward to the weekend!!!
